Trail of Lights and SANTA!!
It has been an annual thing to go to the city park in Llano on Thanksgiving weekend to see the Trail of Lights and sit on Santa's lap. Christmas season is upon us!! A bunch of us all met at the park and walked through the same lights and watched the kids enjoy themselves, took some of the same pictures as we do every year, and visited with Santa Claus. Ryder definitely was NOT thrilled to be too close to the strange guy with the white beard! For some reason, I LOVE those pictures though!!! :)
We are an AGGIE family!!
My mom wanted a new picture of all of us together since the last picture we took was before the two littlest grand kids were born. So that is what we did the day after Thanksgiving! We decided to dress in Aggie/maroon clothing and got several great shots with the ranch in the background.

Thanksgiving Birthday
My birthday is on Thanksgiving this year so it was extra special to have Kalyn and Sheldon with us for the holiday this year. We stopped in Georgetown on our way to Llano yesterday to eat supper with Mimi, Uncle Brad, Lisa and sweet Natalia. After spending the night, we left early this morning and drove to the ranch so I could help mom get things ready for lunch. Everyone came out here for lunch and to celebrate Papa O's birthday and mine as well. Kalyn, Sheldon, and Ryder LOVED being with Colten, Cambry, and Carrys...they fed cows with Granden, rode the gator, played games, and just enjoyed being together. Carie and I even got to do a little shopping with our cousins, Kristi and Kyndel...FUN!!! As always, we enjoyed being together as a family and know how blessed we are to have such a close relationship. So THANKFUL!!!

Happy Halloween!!
The kids had fun carving jack o' lanterns together this year. Even Ryder got into it and enjoyed himself for the first time. He wasn't exactly crazy about the texture as we gutted the pumpkins, but he was not near as dramatic as Sheldon was at that age!! Kalyn had to cheer at two football games on Halloween night so Ricky and I took the boys trick-or-treating. We just went around the neighborhood close the stadium and it was so fun to watch Ryder soak it all in...he actually "got it" and did great! He was dressed as the cutest cow ever and Sheldon was a Ninja. When Kalyn's games were over, she changed into her Cleopatra costume real quick and we walked around a couple blocks to see if anyone was still out trick-or-treating. Sadly, she missed all that fun, but I was glad to get a picture of all three kids in costume together. Who knows if Kalyn will be dressing up next year!

Trunk or Treat!
Our church family held its first Trunk or Treat event for the community. It was a wonderful time and we saw a lot of new faces. All the kids (and adults too!) were cute in their costumes and had fun trunk or treating in the parking lot. We had some awesome trunks!! Several families held a small carnival with some fun games and there was also the famous bounce house outside. Many thanks to all who participated in the event and we are already looking forward to next year!

Undefeated
Sheldon and his team have been winning all of their football games! It has been so much fun to watch them all play and of course, especially fun to watch my son as quarterback. He is doing awesome and has made so many good plays and tackles...I couldn't be any prouder of my boy! This weekend will be their last game of the season then the playoffs will be in a couple weeks. Lets go Eagles!!!
