Feeding cows with Granden

While we were in Llano for Christmas, we went with Granden to feed the cows one morning. I know he really enjoys having me and my sister tag along when we can and probably even more so when ALL six of his grands are with him as well. It was lots of fun and always brings back memories as I watch my kids enjoy feeding cubes to the cows. All the grands...except for Ryder...know exactly what to do because Granden taught them well. Ryder has just started to really enjoy seeing the cows and says "moooooo!" So thankful that my kids are able to experience ranch life with cows....love you Daddy!

Last stop for Christmas...Mimi's house!!

On the way back home from Llano yesterday we stopped in Georgetown to spend some time on Christmas with Ricky's mom and his brother's family. Mimi was really anxious for us to get there (probably only because of the kids-ha!) She cooked fajitas for us and had some yummy chewy pralines and pies. The kids loved getting more gifts too! Kalyn got a volleyball with a net and kneepads. I am looking forward to setting that up soon so we can play...gotta train her for middle school volleyball! Sheldon got a pellet gun which he, of course, was so excited about! That boy and his guns! Ryder got a fun toy with steps, slide, bat and ball. He really loves that thing. Ricky and I got a gift certificate to Home Depot which will really come in handy soon when we "try" to finish our shower project!! Thank you Mimi for a fun time and we're blessed to have you in our lives!!!

Merry Christmas Boppo and Judy!

Boppo and Judy came to the ranch to open presents with us before lunch. My cousin Dan and his wife Marisa came as well. We don't see each other as often as we do my mom's family so it was really good to see them. We enjoyed opening more presents and spending a little time with just them before everyone showed up for Christmas lunch.

Santa came to the ranch this year with lots of goodies!! The kids were so-o-o excited and ready to rip open more gifts this morning. Kalyn got the boots she asked for, Sheldon got his most wanted Nerf gun, and Ryder got a cute rocking arm chair. They all got several other things from Granden and Oni as well as from Aunt Carie and her family. Thank you guys!! We all LOVE being together and feel so blessed to have each other in our lives. Merry Christmas to you and your families!!!

Christmas Eve

My grandparents had their traditional Christmas Eve gathering for our family at their house in Llano. As many of us try to come together this time every year to eat, open presents, and just visit. The cousins all had so much fun playing and of course seeing what they got this year. Poor Ryder started feeling under the weather, but perked up a little bit while we opened gifts. I know it means a lot to my Granny and Papa to have everyone there with them each year especially the older they get. I count my blessings with each passing year that I am able to be with both of them and will treasure our Christmas Eve memories forever. God has been so good to us!
