Field Day 2009

Sheldon and I had a great time watching Kalyn compete in her events yesterday! When we first got there each class went through several rotations of events such as long jump, softball throw, 3-legged race, hurdles, football kick, and sack race. We all got to enjoy snowcones for snack~YUM!! After a picnic lunch the races began. Kalyn did the 400 meter relay and she was the 2nd leg...she shocked me! She is a fast runner and had a wonderful stride...I actually teared up watching her. Kalyn also did the 100m dash as well. I am so proud of her and how well she did. It was very HOT out there, but everyone had an enjoyable time.
