The 2nd weekend of June was our annual reunion with my mom's side of the family. The Osbourns have met on the Llano river for at least the last 30 years! I have so many memories from when I was growing up with my cousins and now it is such a joy to watch Kalyn and Sheldon experience the same memories. Our immediate family was on the reunion committee this year so we got there on Thursday to help with set up and preparations. On Friday we had a catfish fry with all the fixin's for supper...it was YUMMY! Saturday for lunch we had the annual Osbourn BBQ and then had sandwiches for supper along with various flavors of homemade ice cream. On Sunday we had a brief worship service together then had leftovers for lunch. The cousins had fun swimming at the slab, playing volleyball, catching up with what we all had been up to, etc. We also had a water balloon fight for the little kids which was a huge hit....we plan to do that again next year and include the adults as well! ;o) It was H-O-T, but we all had fun just being with family! Until next year.....
