Last week we got some rain! I wanted to take it all in so the kids and I headed outside to sit on the porch. While we were out there a little hummingbird flew right into our door and fell to the ground. Kalyn picked it up because it couldn't fly....poor thing was hurt. The amazing thing is it didn't even seem scared of us! When Ricky got home he took the hummingbird inside and filled up the feeder to see if it would drink anything. It didn't so we figured maybe if we took the feeder back outside and left the bird alone with the feeder it would drink and fly away. It stayed on the feeder until the next day....then off it went. It was a neat experience!!
