I LOVE small towns!!!

I've said before how much I love living in small towns. What I saw on Friday afternoon as I arrived to the school to wait for the kids just made me appreciate it even more. While I was waiting in the pick up line, I saw several classes walking out the front door with different signs and bubbles, etc. They all proceeded to sit down on the curb in front of the school where the buses pick up the kids. About 5 minutes later, two school buses drove into the lot and the whole football team got off the bus!! The players were on their way to their playoff game and the elementary school kids got to send them off with a little pep rally of their own. SO CUTE!! The kids did a couple yells, showed off their signs, and blew bubbles. Then the players all lined up and walked down the curb before getting back on the buses. They gave as many kids as they possibly could high fives, hand shakes, etc. It was so neat to watch and I was glad I had my camera with me to get a few pictures. I couldn't see Kalyn or Sheldon anywhere in the crowd, but they told me later that they were there. Sheldon thought it was really cool and Kalyn said "I touched Tyler's hand!!" Too funny...what wonderful role models we have for the elementary kids!!
