The kids usually have their turkey trot at school the day before they get out for Thanksgiving break, but it was too muddy. The coaches postponed the run until the Monday after the break. Sheldon was excited and geared up to go, but Kalyn is so much like me in that she does not enjoy running...ha! I felt for her, I really did! Even more so after she told me after the run that she felt sick all day...and she had a fever later in the evening. Poor girl! I was proud of her for sticking it out and doing her best. Sheldon did awesome in his run coming into 2nd place again this year...he was so proud!
