Kalyn's FUN weekend!

Instead of having a birthday party with all her friends, Kalyn decided to invite one friend to spend the entire weekend with us.  She had become real good friends with Nicole from our church so as soon as school was out on Friday we got Nicole from her parents and headed home.  The girls had fun playing outside, trying on clothes, eating pizza, cooking a cake (for our Life Group lunch after church on Sunday), and watching a movie.  They were nice enough to include Sheldon as well!  On Saturday morning the girls and I (along with Ryder) headed to Georgetown to meet my mom and Ricky's mom for a day of fun.  Kalyn had been waiting to get her ears pierced since she was 5 years old, so that was the first thing we did!!!  She was sooo excited!!!  After that we did a little shopping before lunch.  Kalyn wanted to eat at Casa Ole for her birthday lunch...it was yummy!  The waiters brought out a dessert and sang to Kalyn...she was a bit embarrassed, but it was fun!!!  I also had brought a cookie cake for us to enjoy as well so we were F-U-L-L once we left the restaurant.  Kalyn had gotten some birthday money and gift cards to Justice so we headed there to shop.  Kalyn ended up getting several things that she had been wanting which was good.  Hobby Lobby was our next stop for me to get more scrapbooking goodies then we dropped off Ryder and Ricky's mom at her apartment so that we could go watch the movie, Journey 2.  It was pretty good and the girls really enjoyed it.  We were all exhausted by the time it was over and got home.  Thank you Oni, Mimi, and Nicole for helping us celebrate Kalyn's 10th birthday!!!!
