Lee County Junior Livestock Show

We all went to Giddings for the livestock show as a family this year.  It was SO nice to have Ricky with us!  Kalyn made a 7-Up cake for her cake exhibit this year.  The format was different than last year which I think we liked better.  Last year Kalyn had to do an one-on-one interview with the judges then wait all day for the results.  This year it was done out in the open where the exhibitors stood behind a long table in front of the audience.  The judge took turns tasting each cake and asked a few questions which was fun to watch.  Kalyn did a great job and got 5th place out of 13 in her exhibit.  We are very proud of her!  Next year will be even more fun since Sheldon will be participating in the livestock too...yay!!!
