Kalyn only has to go to school half day this week until Thursday so I decided we would do something special to celebrate her "graduating" from Kindergarten. I had never had a pedicure before so I figured it would be fun to get our first pedicures together so that is what we did today! We invited Mimi (Ricky's mom) to come along and we had a wonderful girls' only afternoon. Kalyn felt pretty special being able to do this with us. We got to sit in the big massage chairs, soak our feet in warm water, and just R-E-L-A-X while the wonderful technicians worked on our feet. It was well worth it and I will definitely be going back!!
While we were gone the country boys hung out together on the tractor, swam, and worked outside. Sheldon has really enjoyed having "Daddy Ricky" off from work for a couple days this week. It has been so good for him to have some "guy time" to do things that he normally wouldn't do at home with me during the day. It is so awesome for me watch Ricky with the kids...I am always reminded how blessed we are to have him in our lives . God is GOOD!
