We got four heifers from my dad a couple weeks ago. Kalyn and Sheldon each have their own heifer to start their college fund with the calves they have each year. When the heifers first got here they were a bit nervous around us, but now they're really friendly! We've been giving them some cubes almost ever

y evening just like Granden does with his cows in Llano. Yesterday evening was the first time they would come to the kids and eat right out of their hands...it was fun and exciting for them! It warms my heart to watch my kids experience country life!

How cute are they!!! In my heart I would like to think I am a country but Jeff says I am such a city girl. What does he know- I would love to take my kids to feed their own calves each night and know that they are starting at such a young age not only learning to take care of others but themselves as well (ie. college) Jaxon is sitting over my shoulder shouting cows cows cows! I celebrate your happiness!
Good job Kalyn and Sheldon in feeding the calves. Looks like you have them very gentle. Oni and I are proud of you both.
Granden
That is really cool! I cannot imagine the chore of taking care of such animals. :-)
