What a fun weekend we had at the beach in Port
Aransas!! We stayed in a nice condo right on the beach, thanks to Mimi. The first thing we did upon our arrival was walk straight to the beach and the first thing we saw was LOTS of sea weed, thanks to Hurricane Dolly! The next morning we spent
a lot of our time at the beach playing in the sand, swimming, and riding the waves
on the boogie board.
Kalyn really got the hang of it and did awesome! She had so much fun!! Sheldon just enjoyed jumping over the waves and shooting water at the sea gulls. Not only did we have the
beach, we also had two big heated pools at the condo for us to enjoy. I even got some time to myself in the afternoon while the kids and "older" people took a nap-ha-so I lounged out at the pool. It was so nice!! The rest of the day was spent in town shopping for souvenirs and we ate some yummy seafood on the pier. The kids were fascinated with all the yachts. By the time we got back to the condo the kids were ready to head back to the beach for more fun...they wore us out! We weren't ready to leave
the next day and have decided we will definitely go back next year and stay at least three nights!
