1. Ricky has been working on a fun project for the kids...we are all excited about it! The kids have been wanting a treehouse for some time now so Ricky finally found some time to start working on it. Sheldon has been a big helper. It is not quite finished yet, but the kids have really enjoyed playing in it already. Fun times!!!
2. It was time to start our garden. Ricky spent alot of time breaking up the dirt, adding manure, and plowing the weekend before last. We have planted our potatoes and onions. We also have planted many other vegetables inside...we'll transfer them outside when it warms up more...or should I say when it STAYS warm??
3. I never thought I'd say this, but we miss having chickens around here. So, we now have 10 cute chicks in the coop. More are on the way! ;o) Now that I have my fence around the house we will see what kind of trouble they give us this time around...stay posted!!

First of all, Ricky is so talented. That tree house looks amazing.
Second, my grandpa used to raise chickens. We used to love all the baby chicks around this time of year. I miss him a lot and I miss his chickens too because he was so proud of them! ;-)
i agree with jaime...getting to hold new baby chicks at Easter was always a fun treat!
i would love to have a garden, but i don't think i'm talented enough to keep things alive. i envy you! :)
