I can stand the bugs and spiders, but snakes really freak me out!! I have been so lucky the last two weeks to see TWO snakes up close and personal. The first one was a copperhead. I was getting ready to mow my mother in law's yard last week and she wanted to move two potted plants out of the way. We moved one and it was heavy so she decided to not move the other one. I started to mow and right when I went past that potted plant that we didn't move I saw him. He was all comfortable Sunflower

LOL! At least the snakes I come across aren't dangerous. I tried to kill a rat snake our first year in this house with a dull shovel and hoe...he left the shed bent and mad. Oops. Which reminds me...I haven't sharpened the yard tools yet.
