Happy 5th Birthday, Colten!!

It is hard to believe my nephew is FIVE years old already! He had his "Star Wars" themed swimming party on his actual birthday so the kids and I packed our stuff and headed to San Antonio for a couple days. While I was driving to San Antonio I realized it had almost been a whole year since I had been there (the kids had gone several times to see Pappa and Nanna though). Time is just flying by so quickly!! We got to the party just in time and we were greeted by "Darth Vader", aka Colten. Swimming was in full swing before long and it started to rain too, but the kids absolutely loved it! It was fun to be there with Colten and all his friends!

After the party the kids and I spent the rest of the day and night with the Chances. The cousins enjoyed playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler going underneath it (fun idea, Uncle Caleb!) then we went to watch Colten at his last swimming lesson at the YMCA. There was a small water park there so the kids had fun playing in more water before, during, and after Colten's lesson. My parents really enjoyed watching their grandkids have so much fun!! After all that water play the kids were starved so we went to Salsalitos to celebrate our special guy one more time!

Carie had to go in to work the next morning so the kids and I stayed at the house with Colten and Cambry. The boys played with Star Wars "stuff" while the girls played with dolls. The girls also enjoyed the pedicure I gave them. I am so glad our kids love each other so much and play well together...we are blessed! We look forward to the next time we can all get together again.
