It's that time of the year again for avid deer hunters! October 1st is the first day of bow season and Ricky could not be any happier. I went with him and his uncle, Ronnie, today to watch them get their deer stands and feeders all set up. It was pretty funny to watch them...ha! We went to Uncle Ronnie's deer feeder first to fix the timer on the feeder, put up the game camera, and fix the deer stand wayyyy up high in one of the trees. I climbed up to see what it was like and let me just say it was HIGH! I told Ricky he had better wear his belt if he goes up there! After we were done, we drove over to Ricky's feeder and the guys put up another stand in one of the trees...not too high so I felt better. We all had a good time and I enjoyed going with the guys since I am not able to do that as much as I would like to these days. Now bring on the fried venison!!
