Christmas in Georgetown

There was a "Holiday Stroll" in downtown Georgetown over the weekend so Kalyn and I told Pat/Mimi that we would like to go with her then spend the night and do a little shopping too. We went to the square and got lucky with a great parking spot right in front of the courthouse. The whole square was filled with excitement, food, music, and lots and lots of lights. It was so pretty! We walked through Bethlehem and watched a short play about the birth of Jesus with live animals. It was put on very well and Kalyn did a wonderful job interpreting for her mom (even though I told her she didn't need to do that). I am so blessed to have such a caring, considerate daughter. Kalyn especially enjoyed the live music and was in a great mood the whole evening while we walked through the streets looking in some stores. There was also a live "Grinch" in full costume...his face and hair was even GREEN! Kalyn thought he was creepy and would not have her picture taken with him...ha! Thank you Pat/Mimi for taking us and we look forward to going again next year!
