SLUMBER PARTY!!

Kalyn had her first slumber party last night with her friends. She invited nine girls and eight were able to make it...yeah!! We decided to do a "room makeover" theme since Kalyn's gift from us was a room makeover. She wanted her walls painted pink along with half of one wall painted with black chalkboard paint. I ordered her zebra bedding and her friends gave her new accessories for her room. Ricky's mom came a few days before the party to help me paint and get the room put together before the party (thanks again Pat!). It looks really cute and Kalyn loves it.


As crazy as it was here at the house last night, it was fun to watch Kalyn make memories with her friends just like I did when I was her age...how time flies!! The girls had fun working on crafts, playing outside, playing "school", watching movies while eating popcorn, and just giggling about girl stuff (probably boys!). Lights were out at midnight since of us had church in the morning...I was READY to go to sleep!!! The party was a huge hit and great fun was had by all!!

Ricky and Sheldon decided to leave the house for the night...they did not want to be in a house full of girls and Kalyn did not want any boys there either!! HA
