It just can't be...seems like just yesterday we were all getting anxious about Ryder's arrival. Time has flown by sooo fast!!! There have been several "new" firsts recently which have been so fun to see. The "army crawl" has pretty much been replaced with actual crawling and cruising furniture after pulling up. Ryder has finally figured out how to get down from standing which has been so-o-o nice, but he still won't do it in his crib! Grrr...little stinker! He can also stand alone for just a few seconds before he realizes what he's doing and quickly goes down onto the floor. It won't be long.... Throwing the football or any ball is great fun as he now understands how to do it back and forth. Ryder finally gave in and signed his first word in sign language..."finish." He will do it most of the time after he is done eating in his high chair. It is really cute and we are working on "more." The boy does understand a lot more than he lets on too! Ryder waving and saying hi, bye-bye, and ni-ni consistently and at appropriate times is soooo cute to see and we cannot wait for his vocabulary to increase. New food favorites for Ryder before he started refusing table food this week were pickles, cheese, cinnamon rolls, and nectarines. Hopefully he will pick up where he left off after he gets through this terrible bout of TEETHING...only one tooth so far!! Ryder Wayne, you are a JOY and we love you very much!! Gotta get ready for your BIG DAY coming in just four short weeks!!!!
