Lexington had a pep rally earlier this evening at the park for the playoff game tomorrow night against Altair Rice. It was lots of fun! The football players were on a flat bed trailer and the cheerleaders were right in front of the bonfire they lit during the pep rally. The band was there as well and it was fun to see the community come together to support our Eagles. The cheerleaders were passing out green glow necklaces for the kids and did a wonderful job getting everyone to participate in some way. A few players did their speeches and the bonfire was lit...it was cool! The best part of the pep rally was when one of the players ended with a prayer. I was thinking how wonderful that was and I am so glad Kalyn and Sheldon are growing up in this community! GO Eagles!!!! (UPDATE...we lost the game)
