Summer Schedule and Lincoln Logs

Kalyn and Sheldon have really surprised me so far. I was fully prepared for lots and lots of fighting and arguing now that school is out. I got my summer schedule ready for them and told myself I wasn't going to lose my patience the first few days. Kalyn and Sheldon have always liked having a schedule during the summer so they were excited when I posted it early last Wednesday morning. The schedule helps us to actually watch the amount of time we watch TV, play video games, not eat too much in between meals, etc. It is also a GREAT incentive to use for punishment...all I have to do is mention losing some swimming time and they're right back on track. Love it!! They have been playing different things and really enjoying each other's company. One thing they have really enjoyed playing with the last few days are Sheldon's Lincoln Logs. In fact, last Friday they were in his room most of the day just playing with those!! Pappa and Nanna, I bet y'all love hearing this since those logs all came from you!! :o)
