Duck Commander Sunday

Ricky and the other deacons at our church decided to do something different and fun for our youth to bring in more people from the community to our church.  The duckmen from Duck Dynasty attend Whites Ferry Church of Christ in West Monroe, LA and we found out that they were doing a livestream via internet of their service on Sept. 1st.  All the duckmen would be leading the service and we all knew that with Duck Dynasty's popularity right now it would be a good opportunity to hopefully reach out to the community.  So that is what we did this morning at church.  We started the service which was really good and then fed everyone afterwards.  Ricky made duck gumbo and squirrel with dumplings.  I also made Miss Kay's famous banana pudding and Katy made Miss Kay's honey pecan pie.  YUMMY!!  We also had yuppy food...hotdogs!  It was a really fun morning and we really enjoyed having the visitors and hope they will come visit us again.
