Pep Squad

Now that Kalyn is in middle school she is going to be much more active!  She won't be able to cheer or play sports until next year so she is on the pep squad this year.  It is not the same as cheerleading, but she still really enjoys it.  The good thing about it is that she is learning new cheers and chants that will come in handy for next year as cheerleader (I'm assuming she will make the try outs!)  Her squad cheered for the first time together today at the pep rally before the game and then again during the 3rd quarter of the 7th and 8th grade games this evening.  Kalyn did a great job and looks like a natural out there...so proud of her!!  On a side note, Kalyn is also helping the Little Eagle cheerleaders as well.  As one of the jr coaches she has been working with them once a week after school and leads them in cheers during the little league games on Saturday.  She loves it!
