"I think I can, I think I can....and she did it!!"

What a morning! Kalyn woke up 15 minutes before her alarm and found me in the kitchen making her lunch. She was in a great mood and said she just wanted to have more time to watch cartoons and relax before school. She ate her breakfast, got dressed, made up her bed, got her stuff ready for school, etc...not one word complaining about having to go to school. Even on the way there she was talkative and seemed at ease...it was nice! Once we got there she was the first to get out of the car and walked ahead of me and Sheldon all the way to her classroom. Then she totally surprised me!! She stopped at the door, turned around, and gave me a kiss and walked right in by herself!! No tears in her eyes...I cannot tell you how wonderful this was for her to be able to do this. She has had a hard time with drop off since the beginning of last year so this was a huge accomplishment for her. THANK YOU to all of you who have called or emailed her this week to encourage her. Please continue to pray that she will continue to feel confident and have a wonderful year.
