Mesquites

This is what I did all day...spray mesquites on our property. For those of you who don't know what "mesquites" are...they are trees with sharp thorns. They are all over our place making it difficult for Ricky to do any plowing or shredding with the tractor. They're also hard on the cattle as well and take over the good grass. Anyway, I actually enjoyed doing it which surprised me! I guess it was just nice being out in the pasture by myself thinking and talking with God about different things. It was really relaxing! I'm beginning to understand why my dad enjoys doing so many different things on his ranch. I bet I'll be out there again tomorrow!



By the way, my fence is getting close to be finished...maybe this weekend? I'll post pictures of the progress soon.
