April

Right after LTC we celebrated Easter with Ricky's family in Georgetown.  Ryder stayed with Mimi while we were with the youth in Dallas so we were anxious to get back to him; however, Kalyn and Sheldon stayed in Dallas to spend the rest of Easter weekend with their dad's family.
The Easter Bunny came!!

Kalyn and Sheldon had some goodies in their baskets waiting for them when they got home!

The weekend after Easter our LTC youth had the privilege to show our congregation all they did at LTC.  The kids did a great job and received their awards at the end of the service. Kalyn got gold in signing, chorus, scrapbooking, and bulletin board.  Her bible bowl team got silver and Kalyn also got bronze in individual for bible bowl.  Sheldon got gold in signing and chorus.  His bible bowl team got bronze and Sheldon got silver in individual for bible bowl.  So very proud!

The Cox family got together at Ricky's cousin's house in mid-April for a family reunion.  We really enjoyed seeing everyone, eating yummy food, and playing volleyball.  I hope it becomes a tradition every year!!

Sheldon had his 4th grade field trip and we had lots of fun.  We went to College Station to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.  I really enjoy any one-on-one time I can get with Sheldon...love him so much!

Kalyn and Sheldon participated in the Spring Program with their classmates...they were circus performers!  I have to say that this was BY FAR the best program they have done since Kalyn started school.  The decorations and shows were outstanding and all the kids did a wonderful job!  It really was a "circus!"
Let the circus begin!!
Kayln was an animal trainer for the ponies.
So cute!
We even had tall men!
and cute little clowns!
Sheldon was an agility guy...they did neat moves and some tumbling!

The 5th graders ended the night with some fun stunts!

In between all that we did in April, we were also very busy with Sheldon's ball practices and games!!  Sheldon got the opportunity to try some pitching and did a great job.  He loves the sport and has so much potential!
