Back to the coast to finish off the Summer!

Our last family trip for the summer was to Rockport with Ricky's mom.  Ricky really wanted to stay somewhere that had lots of fishing instead of staying at the beach as we have in the past few years.  We stayed in a rental house on Copano Bay which had a lighted fishing pier.  Ricky and the kids really LOVED this...Mimi too!  We drove to Port Aransas twice to spend several hours at the beach.  One day we took a picnic lunch and just had fun playing in the waves, building sandcastles, digging for shells, and boogie boarding.  Ryder had so much fun running back and forth from the water.  Kalyn and Sheldon did quite a bit of boogie boarding and really enjoyed themselves.  Eating seafood was one of the highlights of our trip...we ate good! This vacation was a good way to wrap up our summer travels and even though we hated to see it end, we were ready for things to get back to normal again.  Looking forward to seeing the beach again next summer.....
