Fun Saturday!

Ricky and Uncle Ronnie worked on their deer stands and feeders most of the day on Saturday so the kids and I spent the day with our friends from church. Bonnie is in my sign class at church on Wednesday evenings and she has become a dear friend to me...we have alot in common! Bonnie's husband, Kevin, was gone for the weekend...working on his deer stands and feeders too!! They have two adorable children...Mason and Jenna. Mason is in Kinder this year and is SO much like Sheldon! They share many of the same interests and get along great..for the most part! ;o) Kalyn really enjoys being "little mommy" to Jenna and had lots of fun playing with her.

Our fun didn't end there. Kalyn's friend from school, Malorie, invited us all over to her house that evening to watch "Speed Racer" outside. Mason wanted Sheldon to stay longer so we just left him there and met Ricky at home to get ready for our movie night. Ricky was a good sport and went with us...Kalyn had so much fun being there with her friends and it was a neat experience to watch a movie outside on the lawn! We were planning to go pick up Sheldon after the movie was over, but much to our surprise he decided he wanted to stay overnight with Mason!!! He did great and was happy to see us at church the next morning. It was a great day!!

Man, your kiddos seem to have grown so much since the last time I saw them. I do realize that I say that every time I see them... They are so cute and so grown up!! Will Kayln be babysitting soon? Good to be able to read up on all you got going on! (Now we just need to get Carie to have a blog- I've been trying for awhile!)

What a big boy he is! You and Ricky are doing a great job with the kids! His excitement over spending time with a friend shows he is becoming more independent and secure. Stability has a lot to do with that! I am proud to see your family thriving and creating such wonderful memories! Love you guys!
