Ike fooled us!
After hearing on the news on Friday that Ike was "supposed" to head straight up our way instead of turning more to the East, we decided that the kids and I would head to Llano just in case things got bad around here. Ricky and his mom stayed here to keep an eye on things. Of course, Ike decided to go a different path, completely missing us! We were looking forward to all the rain we were "supposed" to get!! What a bummer, but we are thankful we didn't get the damage that many people in the Houston/Galveston area did. The kids and I went to the Llano football game with my parents and had a GREAT time! Kalyn loved it and really got into the game...by the end of the 4th quarter she was cheering along with the cheerleaders!
