So Proud!
As I was telling Kalyn good night last night she shared with me something I didn't expect. She was brave and talked with three of her girlfriends about being God's princesses at school yesterday. I had to fight back my tears as she was telling me about how her friends responded...they told her they didn't believe that and to stop talking about that stuff. She was pretty disappointed about it, but wants to try again. Ricky and I talked with her about how hard it can be to share God's word with other people and how proud we were of her. Our church started a "God's Princess" class on Sunday nights for young girls and we can already see the impact it has made on Kalyn in the way she acts and talks. She's growing up so fast right before our eyes! God is GOOD!!

Kalyn's experience made me want to stand up and cheer but also kneel down and cry. It's so amazing to see our kids have strong faiths but so painful to see the world react to them in a negative way. Keep encouraging her and praying for her. She is going to press on and do great things for God's kingdom I know!
Awwww! This completely melted my heart. What a SWEET girl Kalyn is, and so brave! Way to go!
That reminds me of why Jesus said we should be like little children. That is amazing that even after being discouraged she would want to try again. What insight she must have to know the importance of sharing Christ.
