"Star of the Week"

Sheldon was "Star of the Week" at school this week. Last Friday he came home with the "Star of the Week" backpack. Inside is a cute teddy bear named Teddy with a notebook. The "star" gets to do whatever they want with Teddy for the whole weekend and write all about their time together to share with classmates on the following Monday. Since the kids went to Pearland for the weekend to visit their dad I kept Teddy with me to make sure he would not be forgotten and left behind. The kids were off on Monday for Columbus Day so Sheldon was able to to do whatever he wanted with Teddy for the whole day. They played with toys, ate popcorn, fed the dogs, etc. Sheldon even slept with him that night. Sheldon really enjoyed the special attention all week and especially getting to sleep on the car bed during naptime. To conclude the week, Sheldon got a special trophy for being "Star of the Week." He was quite proud of himself!
