We had been SO busy the last few weeks that we desperately needed a weekend away just to relax. We all headed to Llano on Friday afternoon after both field trips and took my parents out to eat at Cooper's BBQ. It was s-o-o good!!! On Saturday we just messed around and did whatever we wanted...Sheldon was outside most of the day shooting all of Oni's squirrels and Kalyn entertained herself playing different things. The kids definitely needed the break from each other for sure!! Uncle Gary and Aunt Joni came out to the house to visit around lunchtime. We went into town late in the afternoon to visit with Papa O and Granny and ate at the Chinese place which was pretty good, but very filling! Today (Sunday) we had the annual Templeton-my dad's mother's side of the family- reunion at the cabin/party barn at the ranch. The guys fried fish and french fries while the others brought side dishes and desserts. It was all very yummy and it was good to see some family that we normally don't see very much. Thank you mom and dad for a wonderful relaxing weekend...it is always so good to go back "home!"
